Dubai Hotel Group Eyes Bali Tourism Market

Jumeirah Group, the luxury hotel company based in Dubai and operator of the iconic Burj Al Arab, has recently sealed a deal to open its first hotel in Bali as it looks to grow its brand outside of its home market.
Signing a management agreement with PT Asia Pasifik Properti, the Dubai-based Jumeirah group Bali is planning to operate a luxury Bali resorts on the island of Bali, Indonesia.
Expected to open in 2015, the Bali travel resort will be known as Jumeirah Bali and will be located on the southern tip of the exclusive Jimbaran District, looking out onto the Dreamland surfer's beach and adjacent to Bali's New Kuta Golf Course.

As posted in a company emailed statement, the said property will span 80 hotel suites and 25 private Bali villas set amidst tropical gardens and will feature architectural designs reflective of Bali's rich cultural heritage and modeling after an ancient Javanese-Hindu water palace.
Jumeirah Bali is set to offer international and local cuisines in three restaurants, as well as Jumeirah's signature Talise Spa and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
Moreover, the resort is also said to feature not only an exclusive cliff-top wedding venue but also a business centre complete with meeting rooms and the latest communications technology.
According to Sukowati Sosrodjojo, chief executive officer of PT Asia Pasifik Properti, during the signing ceremony in Jumeirah Group's Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the Jumeirah Group will set a new standard of luxury hotels and resorts that reach far beyond the industry as it has raised the bar of luxury travel and living, with its provision of superb service and personalised attention towards its guests and the unique blends of architectural concepts and designs.
Currently, Jumeirah has one hotel open in the Asia region – Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel, Shanghai. A further five luxury hotels are under development in China, in addition to a hotel in Thailand.
